Prime Rib Lover

Best Buffet in Cali

Voted The Best Buffet in Southern California by me & others... Pala Casino in Pala, CA.  Here's why...Pizza Bar, All you can eat Crab Legs (which they'll steam for you & serve with warm butter), sushi, calamari, steak bar (steaks cooked to order), hamburger bar (cooked to order w/all the toppings), banana split bar, ice cream bar (they will mix in toppings for you just like Cold Stone), Crepes (they will make a crepe for you with toppings of your choice), Chocolate Fountains for dipping strawberries, marshmallows, Mexican station (tamales, chile rellenos, nachos, rice, beans, enchiladas), Soups, Italian bar, Salad Bar, Lots & Lots of Desserts, and so much more...here are some pics...they are taken with my phone one-handedly as my other hand was holding a plate full of food!!  Click on any image to enlarge it....

Pho - Vietnamese Soup

Pho!  Vietnamese Soup is so good & so satisfying, especially on a cold day.  To me this is the Vietnamese version of Posole or Menudo.  Noodles & Chicken or Beef in a clear broth with an array of topping to add...cilantro, jalapenos, hot sauce, lime, and more.  You have to try it.  Here is a couple pics of my soup, one with hot sauce added...from Pho Ha Restaurant in Riverside off of Magnolia & Tyler.  Click on any image to make it larger.

Best Cheesesteak!!

I know, I know, there will be some that beg to differ with me and say it's not an authentic cheesesteak, but my favorite cheesesteak continues to remain my favorite.  I've tried Philly's Best & quite a few others, but in my opinion this is the best...I've been eating the cheesesteaks from Steak Escape (Westfield Mainplace Mall, Santa Ana) since high school (over 15 yrs ago, ugh, I'm old)... Here's a pic of mine, with provolone cheese, lettuce, mayo, tomatoes & bell peppers.  My mouth is watering... Not to mention their fries are freshly cut & made...
